Backlit poster printing
Backlit posters are printed on translucent film or paper designed to be lit from behind in a lightbox. The light passes through the print evenly, making colours glow — the look used in cinemas, shopping centres and fast-food menu boards.

Where are backlit posters used?
Wherever a display is illuminated.
- Retail and shopping-centre lightboxes
- Illuminated menu boards
- Cinema and venue displays
- Illuminated shop and reception signs
Why can't you use a normal poster in a lightbox?
Standard paper blocks too much light, so the image looks dull and blotchy. Backlit material diffuses light evenly so the image stays bright and sharp.
What do we need from you?
The exact visible size of your lightbox and its frame dimensions, so we can size the artwork precisely.

How ordering works
Brief
We agree what you need, who it's for, quantities, sizes and your deadline.

We design the artwork and share proofs with you, and refine until you're happy.
Once you sign off the final proof, we manage printing with our trusted print partners and check quality.

Your finished print is delivered to your door, ready to use.
Turnaround starts once artwork is signed off: business cards from 1 working day, brochures from 3 working days. Larger runs and special finishes may take longer, and we'll confirm timings with your quote.
Your questions, answered.
Will a backlit poster fit my existing lightbox?
Yes, if you give us the exact dimensions. We'll print to fit.
Can I see a backlit poster without the light on?
Yes, but it's designed for illumination, so colours look best with the lightbox on.
Do you supply lightboxes?
Ask us — we can advise on display options for your space.
No lightbox?
For unlit walls and windows, a standard or large-format paper poster is the simpler, lower-cost option.
