Wiro bound booklets are held together by a double-loop metal wire threaded through punched holes along the spine — often called wire binding or spiral binding. They open completely flat and can fold back on themselves, so they're easy to use on a desk or counter.

Why choose wiro binding over stapling or gluing?
Wiro binding lets the book lie flat, take extra pages without restructuring, and use different paper stocks — such as tabbed dividers or clear covers — within one document. It's also strong enough to survive daily handling.
What design considerations are there?
Holes are punched along the bound edge, so we keep text and key images clear of that margin. Wire colour can be chosen to complement your cover.

Is wiro binding the same as spiral binding?
They're similar. Spiral binding uses a single continuous coil; wiro uses a double-loop wire that gives a neater, more professional finish. People often use the terms interchangeably.
Can you add a clear cover or a backboard?
Often, yes. Tell us how the booklet will be used and we'll suggest cover options.
Do wiro bound booklets need a multiple of four pages?
No. Pages are printed as single sheets, so any page count works.
